My Client is a major global organisation whose name will be familiar to everybody. I require an experienced WebSphere Application Server V5.1 (ideally 6.1) consultant. Must have extensive experience of installing, configuring and supporting a large high volume production Internet facing WebSphere environment on a Linux (RHEL 5) platform. To work amongst a small team of highly technical WebSphere specialists on a very high profile transactional Internet site running WebSphere. Candidate needs to be certified by in WebSphere Application Server V5.1 or V6.x. & have experience in migrating a production environment from WebSphere V5.1 to V6.1. Exposure to other application servers such as JBoss and Tomcat would also be ideal. Core Technical Skills inc: WSAdmin scripting, application deployments, J2EE, UNIX skills to support Websphere on Unix platform. Perl programming skills are needed. Solid experience with Relational Database architectures & SQL (ideally DB2). Websphere Application Server Configuration experience (JDBC, JNDI, EJB's, PMI and WebSphere tracing).
