Java J2EE Developer - City London required for development and consulting firm seeks experienced Java developer to participate in several ongoing projects. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in designing and building Java-oriented front-ends for browser-based, multi-user database applications. You will be using a range of technologies including Java, J2ME, J2EE, Web Services and XML, as well as JSF, Hibernate and Java Beans. Among your tasks will be small device (J2ME) programming on a distributed, M2M (machine-to-machine) network, as well as design and development of the centralised databases and Web services systems used to manage the devices network. Multi-tasking capabilities are a must, as you may have multiple simultaneous projects on the go at any time. Demonstration of your ability to write clear, well structured and well commented code will also be a plus, as will be your willingness to change gears quickly, trying your hand in a variety of technical areas and on a number of projects. You will provide input into the design, development and delivery of an enterprise level application and work alongside an external development partner or internal teams.
